Managing Your Taxes !
Nothing is
certain but death and taxes. Pay only what's due to
Uncle Sam, No More!
Taxes! A
subject you only want to face once a year. Learn a good tax planning
to be carried out all
year. "In this
world, nothing is certain but death and taxes," wrote
Benjamin Fanklin in 1789. Not much has changed since
then, has it? By taking good care of ourselves and
wearing our seatbelts, we may be able to outwit death
until we are very old. But taxes, well, they're like that little oink bunny--they just keep going and going
and going. Congress is always tweaking them, dropping
this tax, creating that tax, and they do it annually. So
the tax planning that works for this year may not work
for next year. You , as the taxpayer, assume the
responsibility of keeping abreast of tax law changes.
You
can't escarp paying taxes unless you are very poor, and
I don't want you to be very poor. I'd rather you were in
a high tax bracket and paid lots of taxes because you
world be making lots of money. Taxes are the price we
pay to live in a civilized nation. And we do live in the
best country in the world. Trust me on that one! we may
rant and rave about our tax system and our government,
but given the alternatives, I'm staying right here.
Learning tax planning and
learning what you can do legally to minimize your tax
consequences.
